North Florida Emulsions, Inc.
Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour
North Florida Emulsions, Inc. is seeking a dependable, hardworking General Laborer to join our growing team. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in doing quality work, and are willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on roadway maintenance and construction projects.
- Assist crews with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Operate hand tools and assist with various job site tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures.
- Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand, bend, and work for extended periods.
- Construction or road maintenance experience is a plus but not required—we are willing to train the right person.
Schedule
- Variable hours averaging approximately 30 hours per week.
- Overtime opportunities are available during busy seasons.
- Some projects require travel throughout Florida and may require staying away from home for up to one week at a time.
- Hotel accommodations, work-related travel expenses, and per diem are provided by the company.
